When choosing fabric for your new furniture or reinventing old furniture, you will need to consider the amount of wear that it is going to get. So, when selecting a fabric, you will need to ensure that it’s fit for purpose.
When it comes to having your furniture reupholstered or buying new curtains, it can be a mammoth task sourcing good quality fabrics that are available for reasonable rates. All of the fabrics that we deal with are of the highest quality, a number of which are available at competitive prices.

If you do not see any fabric that is to your taste then we will search with you until we find something that you are happy with and we can then order a sample for you to view closely.

We also have a choice of fabrics of varying thickness depending on what you need. Our lightweight fabrics are often made from cotton, silk or synthetic fibre – likewise they retain colour well so are suitable for headboards and some curtains.

In our fabric book we also have heavy weighted fabrics for example denim and tweed, which are perfect for furniture that will receive a lot of wear. We also have waterproof fabrics, ideal for any outdoor projects. Moreover, we do offer a stain proofing service but this is at an additional cost.

We can provide fabric samples that are:

• Fire retardant (this may be at an extra cost per metre – a certificate will be provided upon completion of the work)

Stain proofing can also be provided at an additional cost.

We will always advise you on the type and quality of fabric for the kind of wear and tear that your furniture will be subjected to, dependent upon your budget. If fabric trims are appropriate, this will be advised at the time and samples can be supplied for you to decide which works best for your choice of fabric.
